It’s been claimed there are further delays for the planned Radiology Department at Letterkenny General Hospital.
Work on the new Radiology Department was due to start in the New Year but according information received by Friends of Letterkenny General Hospital; work will not begin until mid-next year at least with no specific state date given.
Friends of Letterkenny General Hospital raised three quarters of a million euro to replace the service which was declared unfit after the devastating flood in 2013.
Councillor James Pat McDaid has been voicing his concern; he says it’s time for the Government to give a specific date for work commencement:
