The Mulroy Woods Hotel in Milford will this Friday host an international conference on the subject of Farming in Peripheral Areas.
The conference will be addressed by both Irish and international speakers and aims to explore the challenges faced by farmers in peripheral areas.
It’ll be hosted by Sinn Féin MEP for the Midlands North West and member of the European Parliament’s Agriculture and Rural Development Committee Matt Carthy.
He says its an important conference especially ahead of the CAP review:
