100 jobs have been announced for a number of locations around the country.
Healthcare diagnostics Company Afidea will add to the 135 strong workforce it already has here over the next 18 months.
Some of the new jobs will be in Donegal however the company has yet to confirm a number
Along with providing MRI scans the company – which has rebranded from Euromedic – plans to introduce gamma knife treatment for head and neck cancers here for the first time.
The company said they couldn’t disclose the locations of the jobs on competition grounds but Taoiseach Enda Kenny revealed them anyway as he announced the expansion plans today:
