Serious road traffic collision in Newtowncunningham

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic crash just outside Newtowncunningham.
The crash occured on the Letterkenny side of the village earlier this afternoon.
It’s believed a number of cars were involved in the incident.
The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
There are no further details at this stage.
