LYIT into Umbro Colleges Cup 2nd Rd with Sligo win

The Letterkenny Institute of Technology progressed to round two of the Umbro Colleges Cup this evening with a 3-1 victory away to IT Sligo.
Daire McDaid, Peter Doherty and Jamie Boyle scored the goals to send Shane Byrne’s side to the next stage.
The LYIT will meet the winners of IT Tallaght and Waterford IT who play next week.
