Almost 400 people were waiting on hospital trolleys or chairs around the country this morning, 17 of them at Letterkenny University Hospital.
The INMO’s figures show five people waiting admission on trolleys in the Emergency Department at Letterkenny Hospital today, while a further 12 were waiting on the wards.
Meanwhile, SIPTU is calling for the HSE to reopen its invitation to the union’s members to take part in forums about the overcrowding crisis in hospitals.
