Mark English wins in Sweden and sets Irish 500m record

Mark English took his first victory of the year in Stockholm on Wednesday and also set a new Irish indoor record for 500m in the process.
The Letterkenny man won the race at the Golden Galan event in the Swedish capital in 1 minute 0.93 seconds setting a new national best time over the distance.
Its a fifth Irish record for English who took the line first ahead of American Eric Sowinski.
Mark will be back on the track in Glasgow this weekend.
