It has been claimed that despite reassurance from the HSE that they would like to keep the health centre in Dunfanaghy, its future is still very much in the balance.
Last week the HSE wrote to Cllr Seamus O’Domhnaill saying a number of options were now being considered in retaining the services in Dunfanaghy, on foot of warnings that a negative HIQA report could mean the closure of the facility for good.
Member of the Dunfanaghy Action Community Network group Micheal McClafferty welcomes the letter, but says there are still many factors to consider:
