Donegal could find out today if Neil Mc Gee will face any punishment for his involvement in the incident which lead to Alan Fitzgerald’s sending off during last Sunday’s heated battle in Tralee.
It’s understood the CCCC were meeting on Monday night to review footage from the weekend and the game in Kerry is of particular interest.
Fitzgerald and Donegal’s Leo McLoone are set to face one game bans for striking but it’s believed McGee will be hit with a suspension for pulling the fingers of the Kerry forward.
If the Gweedore man is charged with a category four – inflicting injury recklessly on an opponent, he could get a minimum two week ban.
Those who are to receive suspensions are likely to be notified today.
