McDaid features for Ireland in 2-0 French defeat

Inishowen’s Kieran Mc Daid was part of the Republic of Ireland Colleges and Universities side who lost to France 2-0 on Wednesday.
A number of chances fell the way of the Buncrana man who couldn’t hit the back of the net at the Home Farm venue in Dublin.
McDaid was the only Donegal player on the side as keeper Joe Coll pulled out this week due to illness.
Daid will be back in a green jersey for the Republic of Ireland junior side this coming Saturday along with Glengad United’s Matthew Byrne.
