The Walking Dead is coming to Universal Studios – see the incredible effects

Walking dead
The Walking Dead has been a massive success on the small screen for AMC, and now it’s going in a new direction.
The Walking Dead Attraction is opening at Universal Studios in July 2016, giving fans the chance to experience the terror of zombie apocalypse first hand. It’s pretty weird the things people do for entertainment.
Here’s a great promo which shows the amount of detail that is going into the attraction, with special effects by the same team who worked on the show. And some very familar zombies.
Greg Nicotero is a name we’ve been seeing in the credits for The Walking Dead since it debuted in 2010 and he’s conjured up some of the most impressive, and nastiest, effects ever seen on the small screen. And his company KNB has been around the industry for almost 30 years, with some seriously impressive credits.
Nicotero also directed 14 episodes of The Walking Dead to date, so you can be sure that anything he puts his name to will be in keeping with the show.
The attraction is set to open at Universal Studios in July 2016, and it’s going to be seriously creepy.
