Donegan qualifies at European Championships but Pearson will have to wait for shoot out

North West Snooker Club members Annette Pearson and Peter Donegan have been performing well at the European Snooker Championships in Lithuania.
In the ladies section, the Irish team of Pearson and Paula Judge, sister of former professional Michael Judge, will be involved in a three way play off on Wednesday to see who will progress to the knockout stages.
Ireland currently sit on equal frames with Romania and Belarus and the play off format will be a best of a five blackball shoot out.
In the mens, the team of Peter Donegan and Nigel Power have already qualified for the knockout stage with one match remaining while Peter has also qualified for the knockout stages of singles event.
