A Donegal Deputy is warning that a serious crisis in home help services in Donegal is inevitable if action isn’t taken by the Government.
Figures obtained by Sinn Fein from the HSE have revealed that the number of home help hours delivered in Donegal last year was 6% more than anticipated. This equates to 37,200 extra hours that had not been budgeted for.
The figures have also revealed that the total number of home help hours provided in the first three months of this year is up by almost 11,000 compared with the same period last year.
