Kevin Ryan steps down as Tyrone Hurling Manager

Tyrone are looking for a new hurling manager for the third time in the space of a year, following the departure of Kevin Ryan.
The former Antrim boss has stepped down following a brief stint in the Red Hand county, having stepped in last January after Dominic Kearns left, just a few weeks after his appointment.
Assistant manager John Devlin is to take charge of the team for the rest of the season, starting with the Ulster Shield tie against Monaghan on Sunday week.
Waterford native Ryan said he has achieved his objectives during his short stint in the county – to help Tyrone retain their NHL Division 3A and Nicky Rackard Cup status. They did both by winning relegation play-offs against Fermanagh.
