Over 4,500 students begin Leaving and Junior Cert exams in Donegal

Over 4,500 students begin their state examinations in Donegal today.
2171 students will begin their Leaving Certificate examination in Donegal today – 1089 of those female, 1082 male.
A further 137 students will sit the Leaving Cert Applied.
It’s also a big day for 2,260 students in Donegal who begin their Junior Cert – 1113 of them girls, 1147 boys.
All students will sit English as the first exam when they get underway this morning, with the exam period running until June 23rd for the Junior Cert and June 24th for the Leaving Cert.
