Two men go on trial charged with Letterkenny murder

Two Polish men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of a fellow Polish man in Co. Donegal.
The body of Bogdan Michalkiewicz was found at his apartment at 15 Westside Apartments, Lower Main Street, Letterkenny on May 15th 2013.
It’s believed he was killed a few days beforehand.
Krystof Grzegorski of Hazelbrook Park, Letterkenny pleaded guilty to manslaughter but this wasn’t accepted by the DPP.
His co-accused, Dariusz Weckowicz of no fixed abode, has also denied the murder charge.
A jury was sworn in this afternoon.
