Dundalk trail in Champions League qualifier with defeat in Belarus

Dundalk were narrowly beaten in the first-leg of their Champions League qualifier against BATE Borisov on Tuesday night
The Belarussian side will travel to Ireland next week with a 1-0 lead to defend.
Stephen Kenny’s side held-out for 70 minutes before Gary Rogers was finally beaten – BATE substitute Mikhail Gordeychuk got the only goal of the game.
Dundalk will have home advantage for the return-leg, which will be held at the Tallaght Stadium next Tuesday.
Defender Brian Gartland, who is out injured at the moment says the tie is still alive despite last nights defeat and they’ll still fancy their chances when they meet again…
