Planning permission has been granted for the new Letterkenny Educate Together School at Kiltoy.
The new school will be built on part of the former Unifi site, and allow the school expand its numbers, which in turn will mean more jobs for teachers, SNAs and support staff.
At present, the school is limited by the fact that it is based in pre-fabs in Ballyraine, with Principal Aine Fabisiak saying there is no way the school can meet the demand for places at the moment.
She’s hopeful that construction will begin sooner rather than later…………..
