Donegal sisters Sinead and Catriona Jennings were both celebrating great wins today.
Sinead Jennings, who last week was finished sixth in the lightweight double sculls rowing final at the Rio Olympics, was the winner of the female section of today’s Donegal Half Marathon.
She went over the line in one hour 23 minutes and 40 seconds.
Her younger sister Catriona, who competed in the marathon in the 2012 Olympics, won today’s female section of the Donegal Marathon.
Running for Rathfarnham AC, she finished in two hours, 53 minutes and 15 seconds.
