The new improved Mullantiboyle Bridge in Glenties will offically open next Monday.
The bridge which was used regualrly by local residents and farmers collapsed in September 2010.
Donegal County Council, funded by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport which invested over €698,000, developed the design of the new concrete bridge, which follows the route of the original bridge but with a wider improved structure.
Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Councillor Terence Slowey will officiate the opening of the bridge, and he says it will be a significant day for the people in Glenties …
