Woman attacked and robbed in County Derry

Police in Derry are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted and had her handbag stolen as she was walking along the Altinure Road in Park around 1.45am yesterday morning.
The victim, who is in her 20s, was walking home with friends from a festival when a blue three door Renault Clio pulled up and the female driver got out and attacked her. The woman noticed her handbag was missing after the incident.
The gold coloured handbag contained bank cards and a leopard print purse, as well as a white iPhone 6, which contains the only copies of the woman’s honeymoon photographs.
