Hero Olympian Brendan Boyce finally made it back to Donegal on Friday night to a hero’s welcome.
Brendan (29) of Letterkenny Athletic Club comes from Milford and received a warm reception as he travelled through Letterkenny, Ramelton, Rathmullan, Kerrykeel and Milford.
The race walker finished in 19th position in a gruelling 50-kilometre walk at the Olympics in Rio last month.
