A Donegal Deputy believes an opportunity is available for Donegal Airport in light of Ryanair pulling its London Stansted flight from Derry.
It is thought that Storbart Air, which already provides services from Donegal Airport, could establish a flight from Carrickfinn to UK airports.
Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle has already been in touch with Aer Lingues and Stobart Air about the possibility.
He says the move would enhance Carrickfinn airport and provide a much needed service for Donegal people living in London :
