18 patients without beds at LUH this morning

There were 18 patients awaiting admission at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, six of them on Emergency Department trolleys and 12 in treatment rooms, ward chairs and overflow areas across the hospital. That’s down slightly on yesterday’s figure of 22.
Nationally, the INMO says there were 590 patients waiting on trolleys at hospitals around the country today.
