75% of LYIT students are supported by SUSI

Three quarters of students at Letterkenny Institute of Technology are receiving grants from Student Universal Support Ireland, the highest proportion in the country.
Figures from SUSI which have been published by the Irish Times this morning show 74.4% of student at LYIT in receipt of grants, compared to a national average of 61% for institutes of technology and 41% for universities.
