Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have “called off” their divorce, according to reports.
A source has claimed that the two A-listers, who separated last summer, have stalled their legal separation and are currently not moving forward with proceedings to end their marriage.
Speaking to Us Weekly, an insider explained: “The divorce is off. They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to.”It is thought that Brad’s decision to give up drinking is what has triggered Angelina’s change of heart, with the Hollywood actress filing for divorce in September 2016.
The source continued: “He got sober to try and win her back.
“He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of and that’s all she ever wanted.“Everyone thinks they are going to get back together. It wouldn’t be surprising if they announced that they’re calling it off and trying to work things out.
“She’s still so in love with him.”
Angelina, who has 16-year-old Maddox, 13-year-old Pax, 12-year-old Zahara, 11-year-old Shiloh and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with Brad, recently opened up about her and Brad’s separation for the first time, admitting that she was “thankful” they’d been able to remain civil.
Speaking to Vanity Fair at the time, the star shared: “[Our lifestyle] was not in any way a negative, that was not the problem. That is and will remain one of the wonderful opportunities we are able to give our children… I’m very proud of them.“They’ve been very brave.
“It’s just been the hardest time, and we’re just kind of coming up for air.”
Speaking about Brad, Angelina added: “We care for each other and care about our family, and we are both working towards the same goal.”
