Omagh v Ardboe postponed for a second time

Tonight’s Tyrone SFC tie between Omagh and Ardboe fell victim to the weather, following several hours of heavy rain.
The game was to have been the first Tyrone championship game to be played outside the county, but the surface at Armagh’s Athletic Grounds was deemed unplayable.
This was the second postponement of the first round tie, which was called off last Saturday due to a bereavement in the Omagh club.
A knock-on effect will see one of this weekend’s quarter-finals affected, as the winners were due to face Greencastle on Sunday.
Ardboe and Omagh are expected to meet at the weekend at a Tyrone venue to decide who goes through to the last eight.
