The MICA Action Group have once again written to Housing Minister Damian English, urging him to proceed with the redress scheme for MICA affected homes in Donegal despite other delays.
It follows confirmation yesterday that contrary to a previous commitment made by Minister English that a protocol relating to a redress scheme would be published by April, he now says it will be this month or next.
Eileen Doherty of the MICA Action Group says she does not see why a redress scheme has to be delayed despite the pending publication:
