Donegal County Council has advertised for a Gaeltacht Tourist Officer, with a two year contract on offer.
The post has been welomed by Cllr Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig, who chairs Donegal County Council’s Irish language Committee.
He says he’s been discussing the the need to market the Gaeltacht as a unique tourist product, and hopes this will play in to the current interest in cultural tourism:
