Kenny Shiels calls on Derry support for Europa Qualifier

Derry City return to European football on Thursday evening when they host Dinamo Minsk from Belarus in the first round qualifiers of the Europa League.
Dean Shiels, son of Manager Kenny, could make his debut for the club at the Brandywell, Nicky Low isn’t available and Gavin Peers is a doubt.
There has been threats of a match boycott by Derry fans with tickets up to £25 for the European game.
The Derry Manager wants the home fans to come out and support the team…

Minsk are seen as strong favourites having lost just one of their last 16 matches while Derry have won just twice in their last seven.
Shiels understands the opposition has good quality…

The second leg will be at the Traktoe Stadium in Belarus next week.
