Storm Ali: Gusts of 81km an hour recorded in Malin Head

 

Thousands of home and businesses across Donegal remain without power this afternoon as Storm Ali continues to batter the North West.
Gale force winds and gusts of 81km an hour have been recorded in Malin head within the last hour.
A number of fallen trees have also been reported across Donegal resulting in a number of road closures with motorists advised to drive with extreme care.
