The Asthma Society says deaths from the condition are on the rise, and over 60% of people with Asthma in Donegal do not have it under control.
Speaking ahead of a special Asthma Society Roadshow at Letterkenny Retail park today, CEO Sarah O’Connor said of the almost 16,000 people in Donegal with asthma, just over 9,500 do not have a plan to deal with it, and that greatly increases the risk of a fatal asthma attack.
