Residents in a number of areas in the Letterkenny Municipal District are said to be concerned over road safety in their communities.
These areas include Manorcunningham, Woodlands, Ballymacool, Glenswilly, Churchill, Glenmaquinn.
There’s particular concern around local schools with claims that there’s a lack of speed deterrents and adequate pedestrian crossings.
Local Election Candidate Manus Kelly is calling on Donegal County Council to look at the issues at hand with a view towards addressing them as a matter of urgency:
