People watching the skies in Ireland have a chance to see a partial lunar eclipse tonight.
After half past ten, the moon will rise over the southeast horizon already in the earth’s shadow.
The eclipse falls on the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11, which carried the first men to the moon.
There are showers forecast across the country for the evening, but these are expected to clear.
