The Communications Minister has told Donegal Deputy Charlie Mc Conalogue it’s not possible to say when the implementation of the National Broadband Plan will begin in the county.
Richard Bruton told TDs the rollout will begin next year in certain counties, and in all counties by 2021.
The minister questioned Deputy Mc Conalogues’s sincerity in raising the issue, saying he had supported a motion that would have delayed the roll out for a further five years.
Deputy Mc Conalogue said so far, it’s been a strong of broken promises………
