There are calls for a safety audit to be carried out on the R265 from Rossgier to Carrigans.
Lifford Councillor Gerry Crawford says urgent action needs to taken in a bid to put an end to the high frequency of crashes on the route.
He says a number of factors need to be taken into consideration such as; speed enforcement, signage, drainage and road surface.
He believes it should be a collaborative effort between the Lifford Stranorlar and Inishowen Municipal Districts:
