Gardai confirm identity of human remains found in Bunbeg

Gardai have confirmed that human remains found washed up on a beach in Donegal earlier this year have been formally identified as belonging to a person from an active missing person investigation.
Searches were carried out by Gardai and the Coast Guard following the discovery of the remains on Bunbeg Beach on February 18th.
Investigations are ongoing, and Gardai say they are continuing to liaise with the local coroner.
