The HSE’s Director of Public Health for Donegal has confirmed that the delta variant of Covid 19 has been detected in Donegal, with particular concern in border areas.
Dr Anthony Breslin told Greg Hughes on today’s Nine til Noon Show that as soon as the variant was detected in the North, it was inevitable that it would spread in to Donegal.
He urged people to get tested if they are showing symptoms, and said one of the main reasons for the growth in infection is people are not following advice……….
