7,005 new cases of Covid 19 have been reported today. Of those, 3,150 were confirmed through PCR tests and 3,855 through positive antigen tests reported yesterday on the HSE portal.
As of 8am today, 1,251 Covid 19 patients were being treated in Irish hospitals, 56 of them in ICU.
There are 50 infected patients at Letterkenny University Hospital, one of them in intensive care.
