Police say damage to a poppy wreath in Derry is being treated as a ‘sectarian hate crime’.
Shortly before 8pm yesterday evening, a report was received that damage had been caused to the wreath.
It’s understood it had been laid at the war memorial in the Diamond earlier in the day.
The PSNI are appealing to anyone with information or footage which may assist enquiries to get in touch via 101.
