Donegal Tweed set to benefit from increased EU protection

 

It’s been announced that Donegal tweed will be one of a number of indigenous European craft products set to be protected under new laws proposed by the European Commission.

The new regulations will aim to protect the intellectual property of these crafts, for products that rely on authentic traditional practices to be produced.
