MPs vote to scrap parts of protocol

British MPs have voted to scrap parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol.

The UK government won a vote on its bill in the House of Commons last night – by a margin of 74.

It was the second reading of the legislation, meaning it has cleared its first hurdle in parliament.

But MEP Barry Andrews says there’s still a long way to go:
