Gardaí have confirmed that they responded to a report of an incident at Donegal County Council Buildings in Lifford earlier today.
An incident is believed to have taken place this morning ahead of the scheduled Lifford Stranorlar Municipal District meeting.
The sitting was subsequently adjourned.
No arrests were made and Gardai say enquiries are ongoing.
