Two police officers have been injured after they attempted to arrest a man in County Tyrone.
It happened just after midnight, when a man ran off as they tried to engage with him in Dungannon.
When the officers caught up with him, the man threw metal garden furniture at them and smashed a glass bottle over one of their heads.
The officers were treated in hospital for their injuries.
A 40 year old man was arrested in relation to the incident.
