Golfer Paul McGinley believes further investment in Donegal from Government and Tourism Ireland would greatly benefit the county.
He says Donegal has so much to offer and a spotlight needs to be shone on it.
Yesterday, the sports star was awarded the Freedom of Donegal in recognition of his golf achievements and for his enormous contribution to promoting the county as a golfing destination.
He says additional routes to and from Donegal Airport would enhance the tourism offering in the county:
