Former Dublin manager Jim Gavin played the Irish Legends Pro-Am on Tuesday hosted by the The McGinley Foundation at The Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort.
Jim won the celebrity award in 2021 but just missed out on defending his title as Packie Bonner stole the show this year.
Speaking with Conor McNamara, Jim gave an insight into the novelty of relying on his own performance in golf rather than trying to inspire a team of others in Gaelic Football – or, indeed, being able to blame others!
The Irish Legends competitive action runs from Thursday to Saturday featuring greats of the game including: Paul McGinley, Paul Lawrie, Mark James, Thomas Levet, Jean Van De Velde, Miguel Angel Martin, Roger Chapman and more.
