The Local Link bus service is planning two new term time routes commencing in mid-September, specifically designed to facilitate students at the ATU campus in Letterkenny.
A new Monday to Friday service from Inishowen will start in Culdaff at 06.30am and arrive in Letterkenny at 07.45.
Another service linking Letterkenny with the south of the county will leave Ballyshannon at 07.20 and arrive in Letterkenny at 08.50am.
It’s understood Local Link initiated the new services in response to the current accommodation crisis, and the two routes are in addition to the existing Local Link services which arrive in Letterkenny before 9am.
Local Link say the new services are currently in the procurement process, and will commence no later than Monday, 19th September 2022.
