Health Minister admits failing to register dublin property for three years

Questions are being asked about Stephen Donnelly’s role as a landlord and a senior minister at Cabinet.

The Health Minister will brief the media this morning after it emerged he failed to renew a registration with the Residential Tenancies Board.

He has characterised his failure to register his property with the RTB back in 2019 as an “oversight”, but pointed-out that he did register it in 2011 and in 2015 and it was declared to the Dáil’s Register of Members’ Interests.

He says it is now up to date with the authority.

He has been backed by the Taoiseach but it comes just days after Robert Troy was forced to resign following his own property controversy.
