An Inishowen Councillor says damage caused to a mural by the bad weather over the weekend is a sign that focus should be put on regenerating part of Buncrana town centre.
Cllr Jack Murray made the calls after a hoarding featuring a mural, that was covering an abandoned shop that had been burned down in years prior, was blown down and onto Buncrana Main Street – requiring Donegal County Council to clear up the mess.
He says that the focus should be on urban regeneration there as well as in the Ferris Lane area of the town after other important works have been completed:
