Damage caused to two Moville properties during burglaries

Damage has been caused to two premises in Moville during burglaries.

Two burglaries occurred at James Street in Moville  between 6pm on Monday August 15 and 3.30pm on Monday August 29.

One of the premises that was broken into at that location was a vacant property and it is believed that entry was gained by smashing a rear door.

A substantial amount of damage was caused within the property.

Damage was caused to doors, walls, toilets and the stair bannisters.

Nothing was stolen from the property.

The other premises targeted was a closed restaurant.

Again, the rear door to the premises was forced open and entry was gained.

Four rear windows of the property were smashed.

Nothing was taken from this property.
